5-Day Experience – Kruger Park & Private Game Reserve

The airport shuttle departs O.R. Tambo Airport at 06:45 or 12:00. When you arrive at Hazyview around 5 hours later, you will be met by guide from Adventure in the wild safaris and taken to your hotel. After a welcome drink in the guesthouse's gorgeous and bird-filled grounds, you will have 2 to 3 hours to unpack and relax. We will pick you up for an exciting 1-hour encounter with Africa's gentle giants, the African elephant, or a fun-filled day on an aerial cable route floating over the forest canopies along the Sabie River. Your Kruger National Park safari begins before sunrise in one of our open safari vehicles, allowing you to see animals from a higher vantage point and enjoy a panoramic perspective. Your guide will utilize his specialist knowledge to assist you in searching for and locating the park's notable creatures while also interpreting the natural surroundings during the journey. We will make a quick halt for breakfast about 08h30 a.m. to enjoy the individually packaged breakfast packets provided by your guesthouse. You will eat these at a rest stop or a picnic location along the scheduled route for the day. There will also be a lunch stop when you can get a bite from one of the eateries in Kruger Park or stretch your legs. You'll return to your guesthouse at 15:30, just in time for a refreshing drink or a soak in the pool. Main Destination: Kruger National Park. Accommodation: The Zarafa Villas.

For one last time, you will rise before the dawn and embark on your final morning safari in Kruger National Park before heading to the private game reserve. Your guesthouse will supply breakfast packets for you which you will have in one of the picnic areas or rest camps. After departing Kruger Park at 11 a.m., you will be taken back to the guest house to collect your bags and have a brief snack and thereafter, exit the lodge and transfer to the private game reserve. You'll arrive in time to unpack, refresh, and prepare for dusk with a sundowner drink stop in the middle of the bushveld. You may have a drink and some traditional South African nibbles as we watch the sunset over the African bushveld. After the safari, dinner will be served beneath the stars around a boma fire. Each day begins with an early-morning safari game drive. As well as another game drive in the late afternoon and return after dark, providing spectacular night game excursions! For instance, the safari may look like this  05h30: Wake-up call: 06h00. Coffee and light breakfast 06h30: Morning game drive (9h00-10h00): Return to the Lodge 10h30: Breakfast/brunch at 11:00. Optional wilderness hike at 14h00: Tea and light meal. 16h00: Afternoon and night game drives: 19h00-20h00. Return to camp, drink in the bar, and eat at the bush boma. Main destination is Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve (Greater Kruger).

After your final morning game drive and brunch, you'll be taken to Perry's Bridge in Hazyview. You will arrive in time to catch the minibus shuttle for your road trip to Johannesburg's O.R. Tambo International Airport. We can organize a shuttle to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport for your further trip. Main destination: Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve (Greater Kruger). Accommodation: There is no accommodation at the end of the excursion.
