5-Day Kruger and Greater Kruger Semi-Exclusive Safari

This Kruger Safari travels daily from Johannesburg. We can pick you up from Johannesburg OR Tambo Airport or any Johannesburg hotel. On your way to our resort in Kruger, you will journey east, passing through magnificent landscapes and farmlands. Enjoy a rest stop along the journey. You will also be able to purchase snacks and refreshments during comfort breaks. The ETA in Hazyview is around 1:00 p.m. After check-in, you will have time to rest and clean up before boarding an open-sided safari vehicle for a thrilling 2-2.5 hour twilight game drive across Kruger National Park. This is a shared gaming drive. The resort is approximately 15-20 minutes' drive from the Phabeni Kruger Gate. After your safari game drive, you'll return to the resort to decompress, drink, and rest. Dinner and stay at the resort. Main Destination: Kruger National Park. Accommodation: Kruger Adventure Lodge

This morning, you will have coffee/tea and rusks/biscuits before leaving for a full day of game watching in the Kruger National Park (Skukuza region). Packed breakfast is included. This is a private game drive that begins early morning and concludes at 3 p.m. The Skukuza region is rich in animals, and the elevated height of the 4x4 open-sided truck provides superb viewing and photographing possibilities. You will have lunch at one of the park's restaurants (your own expense). After lunch, we will begin the two-hour afternoon wildlife drive in Kruger National Park. Around 3 p.m., we return to Lodge. Before supper, you'll have some free time to relax and explore your surroundings. Have a wonderful supper before going to bed. Main Destination: Kruger National Park. Accommodation: Kruger Adventure Lodge. The budget resort is located just outside Kruger National Park. Meals and drinks include breakfast and supper, but not lunch. Drinking water (other beverages not included).

Today you will take a tour of the Panorama Route. You go on this picturesque excursion shortly after a delicious full-course breakfast. Scenic stops on the Panorama Route include: God's Window The Pinnacle Bourke’s Luck Potholes The Blyde River Canyon Wonderview Three Rondawels. Graskop and Pilgrim’s Rest At least one of the following waterfalls: Lisbon Falls, Mac-Mac Falls, and Lone Creek Falls. (This depends on the time of year and the amount of rainfall.) Lunch at a restaurant on your own expense. We will then take you to the Sabi Sand Game Reserve. After checking in at camp, you'll embark on an exciting sunset and night safari. (Note: If Sabi Sand is not available, we will use a substitute such as Manyeleti or Klaserie.) We will return to camp for a fantastic meal and overnight stay. Main Destination: Panorama Route (Highlight). Accommodation: Umkumbe Bush Lodge, a mid-range tented camp located inside Umkumbe GR (Sabi Sands).

Enjoy an early morning cup of coffee or tea with cookies. You will then go on an exciting bush trek with an armed ranger. After your bushwalk, return to the campsite for a sumptuous breakfast. You will have time to relax at the camp and explore the surrounding region. Late afternoon, you go on a thrilling sunset and night safari. Sabi Sand is one of South Africa's top game reserves (if not the best), providing excellent wildlife watching and safari opportunities. During these game drives, you'll encounter a diverse range of species and enjoy several picture possibilities. After our night safari, we will return to the Sabi Sand tented camp. Enjoy your supper and overnight stay. If there is no availability in Sabi Sand, we will utilize an alternate reserve such as Manyeleti or Klaserie. Main destination: Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve (Greater Kruger). Accommodation: Umkumbe Bush Lodge

This is the final day of your African Kruger Safari. You will have a final morning game drive followed by a sumptuous meal. Following that, we will travel for Johannesburg, where we will be dropped off as arranged. Main destination: Johannesburg (city). Accommodation: There is no accommodation at the end of the excursion.
