5-Day Private Game Reserve + Kruger National Park Safari

Your safari journey begins at 07.45 a.m. at OR Tambo Airport Bus Terminal, with a shuttle service. The gorgeous trip takes you through three provinces, and once we reach the highlands, you will meet your safari guide and continue the excursion in a private vehicle. We will stop at many overlooks along the stunningly gorgeous Panorama Route in the Northern Drakensberg Mountain Range. When you arrive in Phalaborwa, you will check into your comfortable guest home and relax for the night (meal not included). Main Destination: Phalaborwa (Town). Accommodation: Sefapane Resort, a mid-range resort located near Kruger National Park.

Our day starts with an early breakfast, then we check out and leave for a boat trip on the Olifants River, which is in Big Five territory and offers plenty of opportunities for wildlife viewing from the distinctive river view perspective. In the afternoon, we will go to Tshukhudu Bush Camp, where you will go on your first safari drive in this private game reserve, which is part of Greater Kruger. Your guide will make a great meal for you, and you will spend the night in comfy bungalows. Main destination: Tshukudu Private Game Reserve. Tshukudu Bush Camp offers mid-range self-catering accommodations inside Tshukudu GR.

Before breakfast, the ranger guide will take you on a bush walk, providing you with a unique opportunity to view animal signs and trails while immersing yourself in the African wilderness. Your guide will have cooked breakfast for you when you return to the camp before you leave for Kruger. We will spend the day on safari in the national park, using an open safari vehicle (OSV). This automobile provides a 180-degree panoramic view of the African savanna, making it an ideal vantage point for seeing over tall grasses and shrubs. It creates fantastic picture possibilities. Your experienced guide delivers fascinating views and facts about the African bush and its people. We will spend the night in one of the Kruger National Park rest camps, where we will stay in basic twin ensuite bungalows. We will rise early to make the most of our Kruger Safari. As we set off, your guide prepares a short coffee and snack. We will spend the morning searching for all of the famous animal species, including the Big Five, with the help of a professional field guide who will visit dams, waterholes, and riverbeds to spot animals. He will also show you different settings and discuss the relevance of plants and soil to the many animal species that reside there. Later in the morning, we will stop at one of the picnic areas or the rest camp, when your guide will make a great warm breakfast for you. We will stop for lunch (on our own) at one of the rest stops before arriving at our new camp later in the afternoon. Your guide prepares dinner for you after an amazing afternoon safari. Main Destination: Kruger National Park. Accommodation: Satara Rest Camp, a mid-range rest camp located within Central Kruger National Park.

We leave the camp early in the morning for our final morning game drive before returning to OR Tambo via Hoedspruit via shared shuttle, where your trip concludes but not your African journey, since you will return soon! Main destination: OR Tambo International Airport (Johannesburg). There will be no lodging at the end of the journey.
