Day 5: Farewell and Departure

When you arrive at the specified airport, our experienced escorts will welcome you and bring you to your comfortable lodging. Get a taste of the colorful local culture by interacting with the villages surrounding Chobe National Park and learning about their habits, traditions, and everyday activities. Get a good night's rest because the real adventure begins tomorrow.

Morning: Take a wildlife drive through Chobe National Park. Chobe National Park is well-known for its diverse wildlife, which includes elephants, lions, giraffes, and other bird species. Afternoon: Take a boat tour along the Chobe River. The river trip will allow you to see animals from a new angle, as many creatures visit the river to drink and wash. Expect to witness hippos, crocodiles, buffalo, and a variety of bird species.

Depart Kasane and travel to Nata Bird Sanctuary. The distance between Chobe National Park and Nata is roughly 307 kilometers, and the trip takes about 3-4 hours by vehicle. Arrive at Nata and check into your accommodations. Nata Bird Sanctuary is a protected area notable for its enormous population of migrating birds, including flamingos, pelicans, and other waterfowl. Spend the afternoon wandering the refuge and seeing the birds.

Afternoon: Visit the adjacent Nata Village to learn about local culture and interact with the inhabitants. You can explore the hamlet, stop by local craft shops, and learn about traditional crafts and customs.

After breakfast, our staff will transport you to the airport, where you will depart with a renewed appreciation for nature's intricate tapestry of beauty and the need to preserve it for future generations.
