Bisoke is a sustained uphill hike (often 4–6 hours return depending on pace and conditions)—muddy, steep in places, and weather-prone. It suits guests who are comfortable walking. The gorilla permit remains the main park cost (RDB fees are set officially; foreign non-resident rates are commonly around USD 1,500), and a separate Bisoke hiking permit / park fee applies.
