You will depart from Arusha at 5:30 a.m. and travel to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon arrival, you will descend into the crater to participate in a crater game excursion. After the game, the vehicle will be driven to Arusha for the pickup and drop-off. The pickup and drop-off points will be advised. The drop-off time is expected to be between 6:30 pm and 7 pm. Lunch and water will be provided to each individual on a daily basis. The Ngorongoro Crater, the largest intact crater in the world, is frequently referred to as the eighth natural marvel of the natural world. The Ngorongoro volcano experienced an eruption approximately 2 million years ago, with the subsequent disintegration of its walls. A natural enclosure was formed by the volcano's 600m-high walls as the volcano floor descended. Ngorongoro Crater is now a vast expanse of acacia forest, hippo-infested wetlands, and open grasslands, spanning over 19 kilometers in width. Elephants, warthogs, flamingos, magnificent birdlife, the uncommon black rhinoceros, and all predatory cats are among the more than 30,000 animals that inhabit these diverse habitats. In addition to antelope and wildebeest, the Maasai can be observed grazing their cattle.
