After arriving at Victoria Falls International Airport, you will be greeted by a tour guide and take the short 15- to 20-minute road trip to Shongwe Oasis Lodge. After checking into the property, you will be taken to the Zambezi River for a romantic sunset boat. Following a sumptuous breakfast, you will depart Victoria Falls and travel to Botswana for the Chobe full-day excursion. Enjoy game viewing in this well-known park. Chobe National Park is well-known for the massive herds of elephants that visit the Chobe River on a daily basis. The park is home to lions, leopards, buffaloes, and a variety of antelope such as sable, puku, kudu, eland, roan, and many more. The river is home to large pods of hippos and some of Africa's largest crocodiles. After immigration, you will join safari vehicles for a morning game drive into Chobe National Park, where you will spend the morning seeing wildlife along the Chobe River. After lunch, you will go on an afternoon boat to watch animals along the Chobe River. Following that, you will be transported back to the Zimbabwean border for your return trip to Victoria Falls. In the morning, you will have a breathtaking helicopter ride over the Victoria Falls. The Victoria Falls are only truly magnificent when seen from above. The helicopters have specially designed 'bubble-shaped' windows that allow for panoramic views and good photography from every seat. Later, you'll travel on a guided tour of the beautiful Victoria Falls. On the route, you will pass the 'Big Tree', where you can stop and take pictures. Your guide will accompany you and present a brief history of the falls as well as other points of interest, and he will gladly assist you with photography while you explore this most stunning of waterfalls. You will eat a traditional African barbecue-style dinner by the river in the evening while taking in the untamed Zambezi. Expect a wide range of excellent gastronomic meals with traditional Zimbabwean flavors, all freshly grilled over open coal fires. You may have the opportunity to lunch with meandering hippos.
