Day 5: Transfer to Maun Airport and departure
Each day below shows where you go, what you experience, and where you can stay—luxury, mid-range, and budget lodge options included.
The first day, an Adventure In The Wild Safaris representative will meet you and hand you off to the Air Charter agent for the trip from Maun Airport to Camp Okuti; the time of departure depends on the clients' arrival. When you arrive at the airport, the guide will greet you and take you to the camp to check in. You will have time to prepare for the afternoon activity. Activities: Game drive and boat excursion.
Accommodation: Camp Okuti (luxury tented camp).
The following morning, the guide will wake you up to prepare for breakfast before your morning activities. Following breakfast, the guide will transport you to your activity. The activity is based on the flying timetable from Camp Okuti to Camp Shinde. Other reservations will choose the flight. Activities: bushwalk and game drive.
Accommodation: Camp Okuti.
The following morning, the guide will wake you up to prepare for breakfast before your morning activities. Following breakfast, the guide will transport you to your activity. Following the activity, you will eat lunch and have time to unwind before the afternoon activity. In the afternoon, you will complete the activity and return in time for dinner. After dinner, you will rest for the next day. Activities include game drives and boat cruises. Accommodation: Shinde Camp.
The following morning, the guide will wake you up to prepare for breakfast before your morning activities. Following breakfast, the guide will transport you to your activity. The activity is based on the flight itinerary from Camp Shinde to Maun Airport. The flight will be chosen by other reservations. Activities: game drive. Accommodation: Shinde Camp.
Following the morning activities, you will be escorted to the airstrip to catch your aircraft to Maun Airport, where you will connect with your international flight. Activities include bush walks and game drives.
