5-Day Xaoo Safari Camp & Camp Khwai Delta Safari

Your safari begins at Maun International Airport with a 45-minute road journey to Xaoo Safari Camp, located on a wooded island overlooking the Okavango Delta's floodplains. The camp borders Moremi Game Reserve and provides a variety of animal adventures in the delta. Enjoy mokoro canoe trips while admiring the area's natural splendor. Return to the campsite to relax by the pool or see animals in the lagoon. The big deck serves meals. The activities include mokoro safaris, walking safaris, wildlife drives, and traditional village trips. Optional activities (at an additional expense) include helicopter trips and overnight wilderness camping. On day 2, meals include breakfast as well as lunch and supper on both days.

After a final morning activity and breakfast, say goodbye to Xaoo Safari Camp. A helicopter trip will transport you to Camp Khwai, which is located on the Khwai River floodplain abutting Moremi Game Reserve. Get an overhead picture of Moremi's layout and animal activity. Camp Khwai provides a comfortable and rustic atmosphere ideal for wildlife viewing. When you arrive, eat lunch or high tea before heading out on an afternoon wildlife drive. Watch the sunset and tell stories under the skies. Breakfast, lunch, and supper are all meals.

Begin your day in Khwai with a sunrise game drive or a mokoro safari to see early-morning wildlife. Then, return to camp for lunch and poolside leisure. In the afternoon, take another wildlife drive, mokoro ride, or village tour to learn about local customs. This day provides a profound connection to Khai's animals and culture, resulting in a memorable safari experience. Optional activities include scenic flights, which provide stunning aerial views of the region for an additional fee. Breakfast, lunch, and supper are all meals.

On day 5, you can go on one more early morning game drive in the park before returning to Camp Khwai for a great breakfast. After breakfast, you board a tiny plane for your return to Maun, taking in the breathtaking scenery of northern Botswana.
