Our tour will meet you at the airport in Semera. We are driving to the Danakil Depression. The hot springs in Lake Afdera, the salt lake in the Danakil Depression, need to be your first destination. In the afternoon, you'll come swim in this lake. You can drive up to Erta Ale's base. You can depart around 1:30 pm following lunch. It takes one hour to go 9.5 kilometers from Erta Ale to Dodom. Along the road are small communities in the desert. Around 5:00 p.m., camels carry our camping goods, which include food, drink, light beds, and mats, to the volcano. There, camping for the night as you observe the lava flow. According to Erta Ale, the Danakil Depression is Ethiopia's most remarkable and difficult natural feature.

Geologically speaking, the Denakil Depression is located in the Afar region in northern Ethiopia. It's one of the hottest and lowest places on Earth, complete with geysers, active volcanoes, and salt flats. In this harsh environment, scientists and adventurers search for difficult situations and new geological findings.

After an early breakfast today, you will depart at 4:30 pm for a better village, Hamad Ela, which has about 500 residents. You may watch sunsets from the very shallow Assale Salt Lake and see a lot of camel caravans. You will take a tour of the salt mines in the morning when you reach Ragad (Asebo). You can see how the salt is being broken off the land, as the Afar Depression covers 1,200 km2 (460 sq mi) in salt. The natives have sliced it into rectangular pieces and are loading it onto camels. As you continue, you will reach Dallol, where you may see the different landscapes shaped by volcanic activity, including Dallol combined with Lake Assale and a salt canon, as well as camel caravans behind you and a drive to Lake Afdera. In Lake Afdera, you will spend the night camping.

On this specific day, you might have another opportunity to see Lake Afdera's magnificent dawn. You will go to the town of Semera after breakfast. You'll be dropped off at the airport so you can get ready to head home.
