Arrival and Hike to Mount Longonot

You will be picked up from your Nairobi hotel, airport, or a designated location at 0630 hrs and embark on a drive to Mt. Longonot, situated 75 kms Northwest of Nairobi. We will pause briefly at the breathtaking viewpoint of the great rift valley to soak in the scenery and capture some memorable photos. Once we complete the park formalities, we will embark on our ascent, climbing for 3 kilometers to reach the crater rim. Following that, we will trek another 7 kilometers around the crater before making our way back down 3 kilometers to the park entrance. The duration of the hike varies, typically ranging from 3 to 6 hours, depending on your unique walking pace. The pinnacle, or the peak, is referred to as Kilele Ngamia, standing at 2780 MASL. Following an exhilarating hike, we will journey to Lake Naivasha for an optional boat ride, where we can immerse ourselves in the stunning birdlife and encounter numerous schools of hippos.
