On this day, depart Arusha as early as possible at 6:30 a.m. and drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a day of wildlife viewing. You'll see lions, elephants, and rhinos in their natural habitat, have a picnic at the hippo pool, and participate in a cultural experience at a local Maasai town. Lunch boxes will be served at the picnic area within the crater, followed by additional game drives before ascending the crater walls back to Arusha.
