Our travel will begin in the early morning from Dar es Salaam. If you arrive late at night on a flight, your driver will meet you at the hotel or airport. You will be driven to the SGR Train Station to catch your train to Morogoro, which will take around an hour. Upon arrival, our driver guide will meet you and transport you to Mikumi National Park, which will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. You will have a late morning and early evening game drive. After the game drives, your driver will transport you back to Morogoro's train station for your return trip to Dar es Salaam. When you arrive, our driver will meet you and transport you to your hotel, or if you have a flight at that time, he will drop you off at the airport. You will eat a picnic lunch during the day's activities. The primary activity will be a game drive.

It spans 3,230km² (1,250mi²) and is located between the Uluguru Mountains to the north and the Lumango Mountains to the southeast. Mikumi is home to buffaloes, giraffes, elephants, lions, pythons, zebras, leopards, crocodiles, birds, and a variety of other species.
