4-Day Discover Victoria Falls, Chobe NP and Hwange NP

When you arrive at Victoria Falls International Airport (VFA), you will be picked up and transported to your accommodation. Since your arrival time at Victoria Falls International Airport will determine the pick-up time, it is imperative that you give us your information in advance. After checking in at Shongwe Lookout Lodge, your driving guide will pick you up for a guided trip of the Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. The surging waters of the Zambezi River will fall inevitably into the Batoka Gorge, providing one of the finest displays on earth. The trip takes you through parts of the Victoria Falls rain forest before arriving at the cliffs opposite the huge cascade.

Pick-up from the hotel is at 6:30 am; arrange a packed breakfast with the hotel. The Hwange day excursion will take you through rural communities with traditional huts to see, local hospitals, schools, and churches, with the highlight of the drive being the Hwange Colliery, which sells vast amounts of coal all over the world. Upon arrival, you will change vehicles to a 4x4 game drive vehicle, and an experienced guide will take you for a full-day game drive. There are exquisite hides that have been deliberately placed to provide a spectacular view of the animals and the stunning surroundings. Following the initial game drive, you will be transported to a picnic location for lunch. As the sun's heat dissipates, most animals seek waterholes and game, and we embark on our second game drive. The greatest time to go game viewing is around dusk, when the wild animals converge to watering holes. Hwange day trips end about 4:00 pm. Following the adventure, you will be taken back to Victoria Falls.

This journey travels from Victoria Falls for the Chobe National Park in Botswana. You will be taken to the Kazungula border, where a Botswana guide will meet you. From there, you'll head straight to the river and enjoy the morning game viewing along the Chobe River. Tea, coffee, and biscuits are supplied. The morning cruise ends around 12.30 p.m., and you will be escorted to a riverside hotel for lunch. After lunch, you will board a safari vehicle for an afternoon game drive into Chobe National Park, where you will have the opportunity to see a variety of species. After the game drive, a Zimbabwean guide will meet you at the Kazungula Border to take you on the return trip to Victoria Falls, which will arrive at 5.30 p.m. Please keep in mind that the order of the activities may change due to sightings the night before, such as starting with a game drive and ending with a boat cruise.

On the final day, you will travel from Victoria Falls. Before departing, you will have the opportunity to participate in additional optional activities and visit the local market to purchase souvenirs.
