    Day 1

    Kasane to Savuti

Arrive in Kasane and meet your safari guide. Depart Kasane and travel southwest to Savuti, passing into the heart of Chobe National Park. The travel will be slow, with plenty of time to stop and see game along the way. As we approach Savuti, the habitat will transform from the lush floodplains beside the Chobe River to a desert-like region dominated by camelthorn sandveld, scrub savanna, and mopane veld. When you arrive, you will find your chosen camp already set up and waiting. After a long and strenuous day, you'll meet the remainder of the camping group. Dinner will be freshly made and served around a raging bonfire beneath the African sky.

    Main destination
    Savuti (Chobe National Park).

    Day 2

    Savuti

On days 2 & 3, you will continue your game drives and visit various locations of interest in the Savuti area. As you continue your search for wildlife, you will go through the drier region of Savuti, where bull elephants roam the plains. Savuti is located in the more isolated middle area of Chobe National Park and provides stunning game watching in an eerie ambiance. It's also well-known as one of the best places to see large cats. The Savuti lion pride has a fearsome reputation for hunting elephants, but other predators like leopards, African wild dogs, spotted hyenas, and cheetahs can also be seen in the area.

    Main destination
    Savuti (Chobe NP).
