You will be greeted at Maun Airport and guided to your flight to the Okavango Delta. Please keep in mind that the flight time will be determined closer to the actual date. There is a tight luggage allowance of 20 kg per person, and you can make up to three stops en route to your campsite. Xugana Lagoon is often regarded as the most stunning permanent water spot in the entire Okavango Delta. Xugana Island Lodge, located on a wooded island bordering the lagoon, makes full advantage of this spectacular location. Traditional mokoro trips, boat safaris to lagoons and islands, and forest walks are among the available activities. These allow tourists to witness Delta species such as sitatunga and lechwe antelope, crocodiles, and hippos, as well as other large game that frequents the islands and riverine margins. Birdwatching chances abound, and bream and tiger fishing can be great at certain times of year.
Accommodation: Xugana Island Lodge.
