1 Day Arusha to Kikuletwa or Chemka Hotspring

After breakfast, your driver will pick you up for the 1.5-hour trip from Arusha to Chemka Hotsprings along the Arusha-Moshi road. The drive begins on a paved road and then switches to gravel after about an hour, taking you through breathtaking African terrain with bushland, dry riverbeds, baobab, and acacia trees. Kikuletwa appears to be an oasis in the semi-arid region, surrounded by towering fig trees. Crystal clear water bubbles up from deep caves, earning it the name 'Hot Springs.' If you bring your bathing suit, you can take a cool dip and rest in the shade. After a picnic lunch, we'll travel to Moshi on dirt roads, past the Kilavu River and sugar cane plantations before arriving in Arusha late afternoon.
