    Arrival in Kigali and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

  2. Day 2

    Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

    The second day marks the highlight of your safari: gorilla trekking. After an early breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters for a briefing on the dos and don'ts of gorilla trekking. With excitement building, you'll be assigned a gorilla family and a group of fellow trekkers, then set off into the forest with an experienced guide and armed ranger. The trek can range from a few hours to a full day, depending on the location of the gorilla family. As you navigate through the dense vegetation, the anticipation grows.     Transfer to Kibale National Park

    Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale National Park and afternoon transfer to lake Bunyonyi

    The fourth day is dedicated to . Following an early breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters for a briefing. Kibale’s chimpanzees are habituated, meaning they are accustomed to human presence, making it possible to observe their daily activities up close. Led by a knowledgeable guide, you will trek through the forest, listening for the distinctive calls of the chimps. Upon locating a chimpanzee group, you will spend an hour watching these fascinating primates. Their playful behavior, complex social interactions, and striking similarities to humans make for an enthralling experience. In addition to chimpanzees, you may encounter other primates such as colobus monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, and grey-cheeked mangabeys. After the trek, you will return to the lodge for lunch.
