This is the highlight of your Ugandan adventure. After an early breakfast, you will be driven to the park headquarters for a briefing on the gorilla trekking guidelines. You will then be divided into small groups, each led by a knowledgeable ranger guide, and begin your trek into the dense forest. The trek can range from a few hours to a full day, depending on the location of the gorilla families. Once you encounter the gorillas, you will spend up to one hour observing and photographing them. This is a truly awe-inspiring experience as you watch these gentle giants interact with each other in their natural habitat. After the trek, you will return to the lodge for a well-deserved rest and a late lunch. In the evening, you will have the option to take a community walk to visit the Batwa pygmies, who will share their rich culture and traditions with you. This visit provides a deeper understanding of the local communities living around Bwindi. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the lodge.

On your final day, you will enjoy a leisurely breakfast before beginning your journey back to Entebbe. Upon arrival in Entebbe, you will have some time to relax or shop for souvenirs before being transferred to Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight.
